Photoluminescence of zinc sulfide doped with Mn-=SUP=-2+-=/SUP=- and Eu-=SUP=-3+-=/SUP=- ions in dodecane medium

Photoluminescence (PL) of zinc sulfide powder synthesized and doped with Mn 2+ Eu 3+ ions by the method emerging reagents in a dodecane medium was investigated. In absorption excitation spectra PL samples ZnS : (Eu ), bands corresponding to transitions electrons from valence band conduction levels structural defects ZnS, as well transition 4f-electrons ground 7 F 0 excited electronic states were recorded. A wide associated recombination processes at energy on surface particles is observed spectra. Narrow are attributed 5 D -> j 4 T 1 6 ions. They intra-zone glow centers formed these structure. Energy transfer defect registered. Assumptions made about mutual influence alloying ions, synthesis conditions spectral properties substances.
